Accessibility and Inclusivity

From its inception in 1993, the Festival ethos has always been to ensure the full inclusivity for all. Disability Access is available throughout the venue including braille signage, disabled toilets and double door entry to the auditorium and surrounding halls, as well as 3 disabled parking bays.

In the past we have had BBC Television broadcast our Special Schools Competitions and in particular the Shared Education Project and we have also welcomed a Choir entry from HMP Young Offenders Centre at Hydebank Wood, Belfast.

The Festival is delighted to be able to welcome and include these choirs as they play a huge part in fulfilling the aims and objectives of the Festival.

If you have any questions about accessibility or inclusivity, please do not hesitate to contact the Festival by emailing info@bangorchoral.com

Auditorium

The Auditorium seats up to 500 people with risers which can be used by the choirs of required. An acoustic piano is provided for use by all accompanists.
